Raja Seivwright, also known by his stage name,That Kid Raja, was born in London, England and raised in Sacramento, California. His music takes creative direction from both locations, combining art class work ethic with a survivor’s optimism. Tremendously influenced by electronica, his musical production tends to lean towards spaced-out synths, trippy vocal effects and bass-heavy drums. Lyrically, he transmits autobiographical passages that are part poetry and part therapy sessions. Considering himself neither a rapper nor a singer, he sees himself more as a vocalist that goes where the music tells him to. Currently, he’s working hard in the studio on songs that’ll eventually be released independently as singles or EPs. On stage, he’s known to perform with his 3-piece band, Charm the Riot. By design, his shows are high-energy and interactive. Look out for That Kid Raja to pop up in a town or airspace near you.
