I’ve been digging into Snapchat daily for the past few weeks and it keeps getting better. I am seeing more valuable connections and engagements on this platform in 1 month than the last 12 months on other platforms.
I’m not at all downplaying the value of engaging on other networks but Snapchat is different.
It’s not a bulletin board, a timeline, a news feed or whatever term applies to your network of choice.
Snapchat is built on telling stories and the better you are at being your authentic self and telling your authentic story in a fun and an engaging way, the more you start to understand the genius that is Snapchat.
It closely mimics the way we share moments on a daily basis. It’s more intimate. It’s more natural.
Since nothing lasts longer than 24 hours, it’s the perfect way to hone in and experiment with your storytelling abilities through photos and videos. For me, it has turned into a way to have fun meeting new people in a way never before possible.
Shouts and kudos to all my new Snapchat friends and old friends who I’ve reconnected with!
It’s much like running into people at a conference, a venue, or in the street. Face to face but in cyberspace.
I’ve been reading a lot about Snapchat and how marketers and entreprenurs (aristpreneurs, musicpreneurs) are using the platform to build community and engage with their support system.
The 10 articles/videos I share below will not only help you understand Snapchat but will help you step up your marketing game.
